- Let’s celebrate the power of math :)
Our mission is to make mathematics more accessible and engaging for girls by providing FREE peer tutoring, mentorship, enrichment opportunities, and financial support for math education.
We offer free math tutoring focused on Algebra 2 and below, helping students build skills, confidence, and readiness for class and tests. We also run elementary and middle school workshops that strengthen core math foundations through guided practice and hands-on activities.
We raise money to help students access important academic opportunities by covering AP exam fees, purchasing calculators and textbooks, sponsoring competition entry fees, providing laptops for schoolwork, and helping fund summer programs that support learning and growth.
We give talks at schools, help run fun and educational events at elementary schools, organize women-in-tech panels to inspire students, create positive and informative social media content, and provide mentorship so that young people feel supported, encouraged, and more aware of the different paths they can take in their education and future careers.
The problem is: according to PISA (Program for International Student Assessment) and the NAEP (National Assessment of Educational Progress), U.S. math scores have shown declines in recent years. For example, the average U.S. PISA math score fell from 478 (2018) to 465 (2022). As math lovers, we want to help students improve and enjoy math.
